Here's where people can post what they thought of this year's Small Group Projects! Did you enjoy the experience? What would you like changed? What worked? What didn't?
Also, here's where I'll be posting YouTube links to everybody's films as they become available!

I think people did well from a technical standpoint, but we need more actors and writers in Flicker. That sounds like such a douchebag comment, but we can honestly improve our work so much if we have more people with expertise in different areas. Not to say that all of the projects had bad acting and writing; some of them were well done all around. But work can be done. And that's the great thing about Flicker; we keep making new projects, and there's always room for growth. I can't wait to see what come out of this group by the end of the year, and in the years to come.

I could maybe go to their meeting tomorrow night and see if I could make an announcement.

I was in the group that produced "Requiem"...no, we don't have a YouTube link. Royce put it up on Stage6 only, so if you wanted to post it to YouTube that would be great.
I also wanted to say I found all the shorts great, but they all seemed to be seriously lacking in crew and cast. I know I had a very difficult time finding actors that would actually participate. I noticed one of the films where a single person did near a dozen different jobs. Is this typical? Seems weird since there are something like 200 Film Studies majors and even more Theater majors here.

Wonderful project. Highly remniscent of the Speed Cinemas we did in my high school film class. Sometimes it's fun to go out and do smaller projects without having to jump through all the hoops of a production proper!
